Another important part of the leaf to look at is the leaf margin. The main types of leaf margins are:

	ENTIRE	An entire leaf has a smooth margin.
	TOOTHED	A toothed leaf has a saw like margin.
	LOBED	A lobed leaf has some type indentation that can vary from one-fourth inch deep to the midrib.
